Collaboration with Colony Kidswear
In Summer 2022 I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with a local business; Colony Kidswear based in Malton. Colony Kidswear create ethical and sustainable childrenswear, reworking old clothing and giving it new life alongside creating new garments with their beautiful bespoke printed fabric.
Our little mini model is wearing Colony Kidswear dragonfly printed dress in a beautiful lightweight cotton and the reworked dungarees. You can find these using the link below
It was really important to capture the ethos behind Charlotte’s brand and luckily my own mini model Grace is a lover of all things outdoors. This shoot was spread across 2 locations, the garden and the seaside and we had such a great time. I very much wanted Grace to go about her usual day and snap away to show how well the clothing works in real life toddler activities and movement.
It was important to capture all things natural with this shoot and keep in mind Charlotte’s brand being all about being out in nature and looking after the environment. We are incredibly lucky to have these kind of locations on our doorstep here in Ryedale.
We thoroughly enjoyed working with Charlotte at Colony Kidswear and absolutely love the brand. We’re looking forward to working together on future projects.
